This Privacy Policy describes how Artisan Bureau Revival (“the App”), developed by Ava Balfour, handles information when you use the iOS application and the companion service at https://waka.artisanbureau.online.
1. Overview
The App is a professional workshop tool for furniture restoration studios. It helps document restoration objects, manage timelines and tasks, track warehouse stock, and run workshop calculations. The App is designed to work offline on your device, with an optional companion backend for syncing selected workshop data.
2. Information We Process
- Workshop records you create — restoration objects, passports, stage history, notes, tasks, materials, stock movements and achievements.
- Photo references — captions and metadata stored with objects. Image binaries remain on your device unless a dedicated upload feature is used.
- Profile details you enter — such as master name, role, company and contact email, if you provide them.
- Support requests — name, email address, subject and message content when you contact support.
- Technical service data — timestamps and action history needed to operate sync and reliability features of the companion API.
3. How We Use Information
- To provide App features on your device.
- To sync and back up workshop records to the companion service when sync is used.
- To calculate achievements and operational history.
- To respond to support requests.
- To maintain security, reliability and abuse prevention of the companion service.
4. Local Storage and Optional Sync
Most workshop data is stored locally on your device. Synchronisation with the companion service is optional and best-effort. When used, selected records may be transmitted over HTTPS to our servers. Clearing all data in the App removes local records and is intended to reset the App to its first-launch state.
5. No Advertising or Tracking
The App does not include third-party advertising SDKs, does not sell personal data, and does not use behavioural advertising profiling.
6. Data Retention
Local data remains on your device until you delete it. Synced records on the companion service are retained while needed to provide the service, or until deletion is requested through support. Support messages are retained as needed to process your request.
7. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate for a small professional service, including HTTPS transport and access controls for the companion API. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
8. Children’s Privacy
The App is intended for professional adult users. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. International Processing
The companion service may be hosted on infrastructure providers (for example cloud hosting platforms). By using sync or support features, you understand that data may be processed in the regions where those providers operate.
10. Your Choices
- Use the App offline without sending records to the companion service.
- Delete local data with Clear All Data in the App.
- Contact us to request deletion of associated remote records where technically feasible.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be published at https://waka.artisanbureau.online/privacy. Continued use of the App after changes means you acknowledge the updated policy.
